ChIP DNA was purified using QIAquick PCR Purification Kit (Qiagen, cat#28106). 10–50 ng of ChIP DNA for each sample was sonicated and used for the ligation of barcoded NEB adapters. ChIP-seq libraries were generated using NEBNext® Ultra# II DNA Library Prep Kit (NEB, #E7103S) following the manufacturer's instructions.
