It is part of the so-called VENTRAL STRIATUM, a composite structure considered part of the BASAL GANGLIA.

Following fixation, Nac punches were sonicated with a desktop sonicator and then underwent high power sonication in a Bioruptor for 30 cycles of 30 s on/30 sec of.
