library_construction_protocol: Genomic DNA was extracted using the Genomic DNA Mini Kit (Invitrogen, CA, USA) per manufacturer instructions and treated with bisulfite salt using the EZ DNA Methylation-Gold Kit (Zymo Research, CA, USA) on 100 ng of DNA following manufacturer instructions. Libraries were generated using the Accel-NGS Methyl-Seq DNA Library Kit (Swift Biosciences, MI, USA) according to manufacturer's instructions. A spike-in of unmethylated lambda DNA was used to determine bisulfite conversion. Paired-end sequencing was performed using the HiSeq 2500 platform (Illumina, CA, USA) with read-length of 125 base pairs. Libraries were generated using the Accel-NGS Methyl-Seq DNA Library Kit (Swift Biosciences, MI, USA) according to manufacturer's instructions.
