ATAC-seq was performed on 50000 cells, following the published protocol (Buenrostro et al., 2013) but increasing transposition time from 30 minutes to 1 hour. Cell lysis was performed via a 5 minute centrifugation in lysis buffer, as opposed to the 10 minutes described in the original protocol (Buenrostro et al., 2013).
