Approximately 10^7 cells were cross-linked with 1% formaldehyde for 10min. Lysed cells were sonicated in a Covaris E210 sonicator. Sheared chromatin was incubated with antibodies over night and immunoprecipitated using Dynabeads Protein A (Life Technologies). Chromatin was treated with RNaseA and Protease K and purified using phenol-chloroform extraction. Sequencing libraries were generated according to manufacturer's instructions (ThruPLEX DNA-seq Kit, Rubicon Genomics) and then sequenced on the Illumina NextSeq 500 platform
