Lysates were clarified from sonicated nuclei and histone-DNA complexes were isolated with antibody. The libraries were amplified by using three cycles of PCR and then assessed for quality by using a Fragment Analyzer High Sensitivity NGS Fragment Analysis Kit (Advanced Analytical Technologies, Ankeny, IA) and quantified by using a Qubit dsDNA HS Assay Kit (Thermo Fisher Scientific).
