MeSH Description

The hollow thick-walled muscular organ in the female PELVIS. It consists of the fundus (the body) which is the site of EMBRYO IMPLANTATION and FETAL DEVELOPMENT. Beyond the isthmus at the perineal end of fundus, is CERVIX UTERI (the neck) opening into VAGINA. Beyond the isthmi at the upper abdominal end of fundus, are the FALLOPIAN TUBES.

The PGR ChIP reactions were performed using 30ug of ovarian chromatin with 20µL of PGR antibody (Santa Cruz #sc-7208). The number of unique alignments without duplicate reads was totaled and MACS analysis was performed at a pvalue 1e-7. At this threshold, >30,000 peaks were identified at an emipirical FDR value of <0.17%.
