Lysates were clarified from sonicated cells and DNA complexes were isolated with antibody. ChIPed DNA was amplified according to ChIP sequencing sample preparation guide provided by Illumina, using adaptor oligo primers from Illumina, enzymes from New England biolabs and PCR purification kits from Qiagen. Biological replicates were barcoded and sequenced. Deep sequencing was performed by the functional Genomics Core of the Penn Diabetes Endocrinilogy Research Center using Illumina HiSeq2000.
