Live cells were crosslinked with 1% formaldehyde for 10 min at 37C. Soluble chromatin was prepared and immunoprecipitation performed as described in Kahn et al. Nucleic Acids Res. 2016. 44:10132-10149 Libraries were prepared with NEBNext Ultra II FS DNA Library Prep Kit for Illumina (E7805) and NEBNext Multiplex Oligos for Illumina Index Primers Set 1 (E7335) according to manufacturer's instructions. Briefly, 2 ng of ChIP DNAs were fragmented for 20 minutes to the average length of 180bp, followed by adaptor ligation and 8 cycles of PCR amplification.
