Active Motif ChIP kit ChIP-seq libraries were prepared using KAPA Hyper Prep Kit (Kapa Biosystems, Wilmington, NC) following manufacturer's protocol. ChIP DNA was subjected to end repair with subsequent 3' adenylation to create 3' dA overhang suitable for adaptor ligation. Illumina adaptors were ligated to both ends of the DNA and amplified using 10 cycles of PCR with primers specific to the adaptor sequences to generate amplicons of approximately 200–500 bp in size. Libraries were purified using KAPA Pure Beads (Kapa Biosystems). Each library was quantified by Qubit fluorometer (Thermo Fisher Scientific) and evaluated by the 2100 Bioanalyzer (Agilent Technologies). The libraries were amplified using the cBot (Illumina) and single end reads with 50-nt length were obtained using Illumina HiSeq2500 instrument.
