Lysates were clarified from sonicated nuclei and histone-DNA complexes were isolated with antibody. ChIP-seq libraries were prepared from ~10 ng each of ChIP and input DNA with the use of an Ovation Ultralow DR Multiplex System (NuGEN, Cat No. 0330-32, 0331-32). Two rapid mode flow cells of an Illumina HiSeq 2500 were used for this analysis. Libraries were clonally amplified in the flow cells and sequenced with the use of Hiseq Control Software ver. 2.2.38 (Illumina) and a 51- nucleotide paired-end sequence. Image analysis and base calling were performed using real-time analysis software (RTA ver. 1.18.61, Illumina).
