Cortices dissected from E15.5 embryos were fixed for 10 min with 1% formaldehyde and neutralized with glycine. The cells were lysed and the chromatin was sheared into ~300 base pair (bp) fragments. Libraries were generated from the ChIP-ed DNA and input DNA using the Illumina TruSeq kit according to the manufacturer's protocol.
