MEFs were kept in DMEM/Hams F-10 (1:1) (PAA/GE Healthcare) supplemented with 10% FCS (Fetal Bovine Serum Gold, PAA), 1% PenStrep (Sigma). DNA was immunoprecipitated using the respective antibody in accordance to the One-Day Chip kit (Diagenode) protocol. Four individual ChIPs were pooled and precipitated DNA was purified using Qiaquick columns (Qiagen). Five nanogram of precipitated DNA was used for library preparation using the Microplex libary preparation kit.
