From stable chemostats, 100OD were collected for each biological replicate and added formaldehyde for crosslinking protein-DNA Chemostats with synthetic media Synthetic media designed to limit growth by a specific nutrient. Different environmental stresses are described as follows: low nitrogen: Minimal media with 6% glucose and 1 g/L NH4SO4. Pressurized air supplied. low ethanol: Minimal media with 0.5% ethanol and 5 g/L NH4SO4. Pressurized air supplied. anaerobic conditions; low glucose: Minimal media with 1% glucose and 5 g/L NH4SO4. N2 supplied. low respiratory glucose: Minimal media with 0.75% glucose and 5 g/L NH4SO4. Pressurized air supplied Yeast cells lysed by glass beads and sonicated. ChIP-exo protocol followed for capturing and extracting specific DNA Library constructed during the ChIP-exo protocol as described here: ChIP-exo: A Method to Identify Genomic Location of DNA-binding proteins at Near Single Nucleotide Accuracy doi: 10.1002/0471142727.mb2124s100
