ChIP and amplification were performed according to the Affymetrix protocol as described (Carroll et al., 2005).Total input DNA was extracted from sonicated nuclei. Protein-DNA complexes were isolated with specific antibodies and protein A/G beads. The following antibodies were used for protein-DNA complexes isolation: anti-ETO antibody (sc9737 X) that recognizes AML1/ETO, anti-AML1 (C19) antibody (ab23980) that recognizes AML1, anti-AML1 (N20) antibody (sc8563 X) that recognizes both AML1/ETO and AML1. Libraries were prepared according to the Illumina genomic prep kit (Illumina, San Diego, CA, USA)
