Cells were fixed with formaldehyde and lysates were clarified from sonicated nuclei and histone-DNA complexes were isolated with antibody. Barcoded sequencing libraries were generated using KAPA Library Preparation Kits (Kapa Biosystems) according to the manufacturer's protocol. Libraries were quantified using a qPCR-based quantification (Kapa Biosystems).
