Trophoblasts
MeSH Description
Trophoblasts with multinuclear cytoplasm and undefined cellular structures. Syncytiotrophoblasts secrete proteolytic enzymes that erode the ENDOMETRIUM for EMBRYO IMPLANTATION. They also produce steroid, peptide, and protein hormones (PLACENTAL HORMONES).

Trophoblasts were crosslinked with 1% formaldehyd and then either treated with Mnase or sheared to 200-500 bp by ultrasonication. For both procedures, chromatin was isolated and used for ChIP according to standard procedures. Libraries were constructed according to the Illumina Tru-seq protocol.
