Chromatin immunoprecipitation (ChIP) was performed as previously described (PMID: 23508109) with a 5 minute fixation time in 1% methanol-free formaldehyde and 35 cycles (30-second bursts separated by 30-second incubations in ice water) of sonication. Twelve ug of GR-IA1 (Miles Pufall) or GR-356 (custom-made by Covance) antibody were used for immunoprecipitation. One ng of purified ChIP DNA was used to prepare uniquely barcoded libraries with the Ovation Ultralow Library System from NuGEN. Libraries were pooled and sequenced in duplicate on an Illumina NovaSEQ using 2 x 150 bp paired-end reads.
