Cell type
Keratinocytes
MeSH Description
Epidermal cells which synthesize keratin and undergo characteristic changes as they move upward from the basal layers of the epidermis to the cornified (horny) layer of the skin. Successive stages of differentiation of the keratinocytes forming the epidermal layers are basal cell, spinous or prickle cell, and the granular cell.

library_construction_protocol
p63 or p53 bound DNA was enriched for by chromatin immunoprecipitation .End repaired sequencing libraries were prepared from two independent biological replicatesand matched input control using NEBNext sample preparation kit (New England biolabs) according to manufacturers instructions. The resulting adapter ligated DNA was subjected to 16 cycles of adapter mediated pcr using Herculase II Fusion DNA Polymerase (Agilent). The resulting libraries were size fractionated in a 2% agarose gel and purified to obtain 2-400Bp fragments. Each library was validated using an agilent 2100 bioanalyser and sequenced on the Illumina GAII sequencer according to manufacturers instructions.
