RNA was harvested using Trizol reagent including a DNase digestion step with the RNase-free DNase set from Qiagen. The Chromatin Immunoprecipitation was done according the protocol Dahl et al PMID: 17569620. cDNA library preparation, and sequencing was performed by Illumina’s TrueSeq prep kit following the manufacturer’s instructions with 1 ug of total RNA for the construction of mRNA sequencing libraries. ChIP Seq libraries were prepared according to Illumina's ChIP-Seq Sample Prep Kit instructions.
