Nuclei were isolated by homogenization in hypotonic buffer and then resuspended in ChIP buffer for sonication. Sonication conditions were titrated to achieve sufficient fragmentation (mean fragment size 500 bp) while avoiding degradation of p300 protein. ChIP-seq libraries were prepared with KAPA Hyper Prep Kit (Kapa Biosystems)
