Thymi were removed from mice and NKT cells were sorted from thymocytes by flow cytometry. For ChIP-seq, lysates were clarified from sonicated nuclei and histone-DNA complexes were isolated with antibody. For ATAC-seq, DNA was isolated following transopsition reaction. Libraries were prepared according to instructions for ChIP-seq using NEBNext ChIP-Seq Library Prep Master Mix Set for Illumina kit and for ATAC-seq using Illumina Nextera DNA preparation kit
