MeSH Description

The hollow thick-walled muscular organ in the female PELVIS. It consists of the fundus (the body) which is the site of EMBRYO IMPLANTATION and FETAL DEVELOPMENT. Beyond the isthmus at the perineal end of fundus, is CERVIX UTERI (the neck) opening into VAGINA. Beyond the isthmi at the upper abdominal end of fundus, are the FALLOPIAN TUBES.

Lysates were clarified from sonicated nuclei and DNA complexes were isolated with antibody. Illumina sequencing libraries were prepared from the ChIP and Input DNAs by the standard consecutive enzymatic steps of end-polishing, dA-addition, and adaptor ligation (performed on the Apollo 324 system). After a final PCR amplification step, the resulting DNA libraries were quantified and sequenced on HiSeq 2500 (50 nt reads, single end).
